HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities say an unintentional hearth in a garage on the Texas residence of former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman broken the garage and a number of other automobiles, but brought about no injuries.
A spokeswoman for the Harris County Hearth Marshal’s Office, Rachel Moreno, says the Sunday night time blaze didn’t spread beyond the storage. She says smoke and water damaged a number of the roughly forty automobiles inside. Moreno stated the hearth began on a golf cart.
Foreman later tweeted, “Don’t fear all is nicely.” He thanked firefighters who responded to the house in Huffman, an unincorporated group in the Houston space.
The hearth comes simply greater than a month after Foreman’s daughter, Freeda Foreman, was found lifeless in her residence in suburban Houston.
